It wasn't a match for the Stang, but it was pretty quick. What is it?

Thanks. Not too slow either I think. Toyota must really knows how to pull the juice out of a 4 banger. It ran a mid 13 and at 5000' DA, that ain't bad.

The real question is: If it was no match for your stang, what did you run?

Looks like a Lotus Exige, but who knows anymore they are selling the body to the car now. John Hennessey is using it on his Venom GT, but nothing with Hennessey on it is going to run a 13.

Elise.

Not much of a drag car but crazy good on a road course.

Garbage. I banged the rev limiter and ran like a 13.1. Good thing he was asleep at the line.

There are a few that cruise around here. Those things are amazing as far as handling goes I hear. Never got a chance to go one on one with any of them.

A local doctor in town has one and I was actually surprised at how "quick" the car was. I guess the light weight helps with top end, and they look awesome imho. I know my fat ass couldn't fit in one though.

The first Elise's didn't even come with A/C if I'm not mistaken since they were made for road racing and such. The interiors were also really stripped down as well then but with the newer models I think they have made comfort a little bit more of a priority for a 50K and up car.

If I could fit in one I would love to have one to do some road racing with, and get 30mpg highway on the way to the track, but I'm too big in the mid section and about 6 inches to tall to fit comfortably. Also I don't have the 50k to get one or the need for payment
