Tri-Y headers w/ 2.5 in. collectors dr. gas x pipe and spin tech mufflers with mac tailpipes. 2.5 in. front to back.Wicked sound when the "loud" pedal is mashed but quiet at cruise. (only quiet with the tailpipes on)

I am running Hooker Super Comps, to 3" Series 40 Flowmasters, and I have not finished extending the piping yet, not sure if I want out to the sides or all the way to the back. The car is fairly loud at idle, and does nothing but get louder the more I step on the gas, I can set off car alarms as I drive by in residential neighborhoods. I have also made people stop racing me because they are so loud, they back off and hold their ears instead. I find them to be extremely loud full throttle. However it sounds good and that is what matters to me.

I had stock manifolds, Dynomax superflows, h-pipe, and no tailpipes. Had a nice grumble at idle, was pretty quiet at cruise, but could be heard when I got on it.

I'm running JBA nickel plated shorty style headers and Twister Race Mufflers, I love them, and they re cheap! It makes my car sound really agressive and doesn't get the popping that the glasspacks give you. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Where did you get your mufflers? How much did they cost?

Thanks

stock logs, 2.5 duel from there back through Z-force 2 baffle (really good flow through) but these puppies are loud and get louder until around 60 mph where the sound is far enough behind you it only bothers others!!!

hopefully santa will have some nice headers and an H pipe.

Flowtech long-tube headers into a 2.5" BBK X-pipe into Flowmaster mufflers. It's the American Thunder system for the late model Mustangs. I took it off of my donor car. It sounds absolutely amazing.
Technically, it's not ON my car, but should be this weekend.
