alright...well i have a nasty exhaust leak from the header to hpipe. right at the collector. the socket of the hpipe is too big for the ball of the header. it makes no sense. oh well, ill have to live with it. now what kinda gasket can i use to take up that "slack" that is in there to stop the leak? i was told to get a gasket so this guy can tighten up the bolts right up to it. it will smash the hell outta the gasket and the leak will be gone because there is no openings.
now what kinda material should i get?? ive heard some of the only stuff that will hold up the heat is asbestes. is that the only thing?? lemme know if anyone has had to do this before or just what you think the best material to use would be.
