I like the NXT wax as well. My pics are in the sig, they aren't the best though.

I used to use nothing but Meguiar's Gold Class. Since my car was refinished, I've used nothing but a few coats of "Liquid Glass" polish, followed by one coat of Meguiar's NXT...It's hard as heck to get a decent reflection with a bright colored car...
Here's a pic from the pits before the sun was fully out...

I also vote for Meguiars NXT. I used to use Goldclass and then even tried the cheap Zymol. Zymol was good, hard to take off though. Goldclass didn't seem to last as long but still made a good shine. Now NXT on the other hand makes a GREAT shine and is extremely easy to put on and take off with no white residue powder.

Use a clay bar, cleaner wax, polish, and NXT. You will have a huge grin across your face.

By the way, i need to see a car with Zaino in person....i cant see my car being any more shiny than it already is but some people swear by Zaino although it hasn't been mentioned here. The only thing i can think of is it lasting longer than other waxes but that doesn't justify its high price...i like waxing my car.

1105 That looks amazing! Is that just one coat?

I use nothing but Zaino. The great thing about it is you can use it on plastics, rubber and chrome also. It also leaves no residue or any dust at all.
I used to use Meguiars Gold Class for a long time until someone urged me to try some Zaino on my car and then I was hooked.

Thanks JR. Yea thats just one coat. I used a foam pad to apply it, then an old cotton t-shirt to wipe it off. First time someone has ever my car. Thanks It probably doesnt hurt that my paint is only about 6 months old though... but made a world of a difference! Gave it a lot deeper color.

Zero, LOVE the paint on your car. Very smooth

That looks badass... I think im gonna go get some tomorrow although they calll for a week of solid rain at the moment .... as a side note the Mothers Chrome polish kicks major ass.. It took some stains off my chrome Cobra R's and made them shine better then they did right out of the box... I was really impressed with it.

Hey, quick question guys. I use Meguiars 3 step (cleaner, polish, wax) but am going to claybar my car soon. What should I use after the claybar? All three or just the polish and wax since the claybar is essentially a cleaner?
Thanks.

In the new latest Mustang Enthusiast mag. there is a great article on paint restoration. It explains when and in what order to do everything. So for Black Stampede, according to that you would be okay just using the polish and wax after the clay bar.
As my paint is horrible I think I'm going to try the process in their article, cause a paint job isn't anywhere in the near future.

Just tried out the mr. clean auto dry for the first time - I'm 50/50 on it - NOT THAT IMPRESSED. Mainly looks alright - but my car is black and in need of a serious buffing and professional detailing - but aside from that fact no water spots - you do go through the soap like crazy and the starter filter is only good for 3 times. As for the wax - I tried out the turtle wax ultra high gloss detailer today and I must say it's not impressive at all - I'm sticking with the Eagle One products - wax as you dry and wet work great for me. As for a true wax Mothers and Meguiars get my nod.
