What kinda wax/polich you guys use

Now thats a shine

Well I bought some of the new Meguiares NXT. It worked quite well. Left a great shine. BUT it still does not leave the paint looking as good as 3M Imperial hand glaze. This stuff is not meant to hold up like a wax, but if your car is garaged and only comes out on nice days, this is the stuff for you! It will leave your car with the closest thing to looking fresh painted that I have ever seen.Hides all fine scratches and swirls and leaves NO haze like a lot of waxes do.Give it a try, and let me know how you like it.And no I do not work for 3M. LOL!

Well, I spent all day today on my car and the results made my jaw drop. I clay bar'd my car about two weeks ago and did nothing with it after that. Today I used the meguiar's 3 step process and all I can say is WOW! It looks like a new car. I plan to go back over it with the gold class, but even if I don't the thing looks better than it has in years, and I'm not joking. I did it as quick as I could too, so I imagine with a little more time and care the results would have been even better. I'll get some pics tomorrow if I can.

Striped, did you get the Ultra Gloss while it was still on sale for like $7? I was very pleased with the results, but I havent used anyother waxes to compair it to.

I think I paid $7.XX and w/ tax it came out to $8.00 something. Im Impressed w/ it though and considering my car only needs a waxing a few times a summer im fine w/ paying $8 for a bottle when it gives you a shine like that, Screw zaino :notnice:

my car sits outside and is driven every day so I dont feel like spending hours and hours using a 3 step polish or anything really expencive. I only put on one coat of that Ultra Gloss and I was impressed.

I clean the paint with a meduim cut cleaner by 3m, its like $20 for a 8oz. bottle. It doesn't take much but its rediculous. I can get out deep scratches, rubbed paint, small chips, etc. Then I use Meguiars #7 show polish. Great product. Great results. Then seal the deal with Meguairs Carnabu Wax. I don't have any good pics but here are a few from last year. I also use an orbital buffing wheel so the results are unreal in person, pictures don't do it justice.

Looks great! :nice: I have been thinking about getting one of those buffing machines myself.
:OT: If you don't mind me asking, which one do you have, and how much did it run you?
