You had to choose between 4.10 gears or lowering teh car ?
I can't afford both. I have to choose one between those 2 mods for next summer... The car is a normal Black 95 5.0.

Mmmmm... if the ride was bad, or needed shocks or something like that - Lower it! .... otherwise, I'd say Gears.

If you were to go back to my REALLY old posts, you would see that Ive always made the comment that aside from the Vortech install, the BEST SOTP feel I ever had was when I left the shop with 3.73's...Next best was the PI Stallion Converter!!

Gears
But don't put the $400-500 into parts and labor put it into parts and tools to do them your self. (pinion depth gauge, dial mic, 1in calpier, magnetic base, 1inlb increment beam TQ wrench) The pinion gauge is the only expensive one at $99.00 through summit. You can get the rest at harbor freight for really really cheap. If you get your self to do it once, you will have the tools and can change gears when ever you want and make some money on the side. It is really not that hard, I can e-mail you the the pinion shim math if you would like.

Get the gears! If you get the chrome gears, make sure to get the clear differential cover!
