i really wanna go magnaflow o/r x pipe to match w/ my packs...but i want to get the best gains & the loudest sound which sounds good...should i stick w/ magnaflow or go w/ something like bassani or another brand on their level? i get paid the 1st & plan on getting that installed shortly after...any advice on what to do would help!

and if any of you have clips of ur exhaust set up if you paired up your packs please do let me listen!

almost every x-pipe has a gain/loss of .0000000000000000000001hp/tq look at a URP o/r x it's cheap and sounds good.

i have a catted bassani X-pipe but also have the O/R pipes i love the sound it gives out with both but have to run the catted pipes due to the laws in california and local police harrasment but none the less i would say any X-pipe would be great. With my bassani X-pipe and cat-back i got 16 whp just my .2 cents

if you ever get the slp, you wont regret it. just did mine saturday, and it f'n screams!

**Note to anyone that thinks about getting slp: if you get the loudmouth cat-back, get the x-pipe WITH CATS.** without cats, its just too raspy, doesnt sound good. with cats, its straight out of hell! click the links in my sig for vids, they'll give you an idea.

hmm...is it the same way w/ magnapacks too? i dont want it to sound too raspy...but after listening to a lot of h-pipes & the pro chamber i dont want it to sound that deep & flat so im 99% likely on going w/ a x pipe...i still wanna go stainless steel so i dont know how many mid pipes that puts out, but id figured almost every name brand has a ss pipe...

wheres all those magnapack drivers at w/ extra mods?!

thanks for the compliments. i think the LM is maybe a bit louder than the packs, but not by much. either way, the packs sound awesome too. i haven't heard the packs w/o cats, so i dont know if it would be too raspy. but i know with cats you wont be too raspy, but still very loud. if i were you, i'd go with magnaflow catted X. the slp is very high quality, sounds great and adds noticeable power, is stainless steel, but then again so is the magnaflow. it might be easier to stick with the same brand

EDIT: guys w/magnaflow X: do you need to replace to drivers side manifold studs w/bolts? i know with the slp you do, and if you dont have a stud puller tool, its a pita. if you dont need to, i say go with magnaflow catted-x. an install shop will prob. charge labor by the hour, and taking those studs out can be time consuming. just food for thought.

You guys are really splitting hairs over this one.

I went to a local exhaust shop and they built me a O/R X Pipe and installed it for 75$ and it's just as good as the 200$ +, X-pipes all these other companies make.
