Hey Milenko,

What series and how many chambers are those Flows in the video? Also, is that w and 1/4" or 2 and 1/2"?

Either way, real nice sound man. Is your UPR catted?

Thanks.

nobody likes the magnaflow o/r x?

if not...i might have to go w/ the bassani...does dr gas make an x pipe for auto's? i was looking at a website and it said just for the 5 speeds...

and if i dont decide on either of those three ill probably get a prochamber or look into that UPR...

Yep. A cheap O/R pipe is fine ...but a cheap catted pipe is what you want to avoid.

hmm...well i mean ill have the 500-600 bucks itll cost to buy a top name like bassani or magnaflow for an o/r x pipe plus install...ive always expected to spend around there...

and i was listening to clips on mustangexhaust again and i cant really get a feel of the packs+prochamber i dunno...
and they dont have any clips w/ packs + an o/r x pipe...which doesnt help me choose...the two at the bottom w/ packs & magnaflow catted x pipes sound great...im just not sure how much sound diff there will be if the x was an o/r?

WTF your really going to drop that kind of cash on an O/R x pipe . Save your money for something that will give you some horses. I promise that you can't tell the difference between a $600 X pipe and a $100 one.

i bought the upr cause it was cheap.... i am not too satisfied, it does not fit very well and that causes leaks.

and i thought an o/r x pipe was probably the most noticable bolt on? the magnaflow is 450 i think? and the bassani is like 320? and id expect to pay about 100 in labor...

UPR is awesome value, good fit, I thought i had a leak but turns out it was just the sound of the exhaust gasses merging in the X, but i reinstalled it using a beed of high-temp gasket maker anyway to prevent any chance of leak.

Is there a reason no one uses the Steeda X-pipe?

Slap in the UPR and have a lot of cash left over for other performance parts like a another plenum and 75mmTB and maybe and some pullies. With that much cash left over you are close to getting a nice shot of go-fast-juice or save a few more dollars and get a nice set of cams.
I wouldn't spend a lot of money on an exhaust anyway. The inexpensive ones as well as the expensive ones are going to be close in the HP range of each other anyway. You don't need all that stainless steel crap under your car, who in the hell cares how the undercarriage looks. They shouldn't have their ass under my car anyway. .
Of course the stainless steel lasts forever, but who in the hell keeps the same exhaust that long? By the time a non-stainless steel pipe starts to show its age, you are going to be getting the next bext thing anyway.
Plus decide if you are going to get shorty headers or LTs. If you are going to get LTs, then go ahead and get the matching mid pipe also. You could get a nice set of BBK or Mac LTs with a UPR for about the $500-$600 you were planning on spending just for the mid pipe. I wanted a set of LTs but I got a great deal on a set of hardly used JBA shorties, $400+ but I got them for $100 from a local guy. . Shorties are good for a set up for everything short of a blower. But there was a guy in a thread that was pushing good numbers with a blower that had shorties. Besides if you get a blower, you are going to have to buy a lot of additional parts anyway if you are going to want to put out some serious HP.

+1 Bassani, but I also have the Bassani Catback so it may sound like ass with some one else's catback for all I know. 5 Pieces that clamp together so you can easily install it yourself with ramps.

Only problem I had was gettin the driver side o2 unclipped from the stocker.

yea greensix thats why i was kinda leaning towards the magnaflow o/r...

if every o/r x sounds the same then id probably go w/ the cheaper one for obvious reasons...and thinking about it lover...i probably wont have my stang in three or four yrs and i could also get an accufab plenum/tb too...

but i dunno...decisions decisions...i have at least a week & a half to eat on it, but i am surprised everybody is quiet when it comes to a magnaflow o/r x pipe...i havent even got an up or down on it!
