what oil to use??

i want to change the fluid in my t-5 and was wondering what kinda of fluid is everyone useing or what should i use its a stock t-5 , also what kinda motor oil is everyone runing and what weight?? i purchased new spark plugs does anyone kno what the gap should be set to?? thanks for any help

Oil- 10w-30(5w-30 if in lower temps.)
Trans.- MERCON auto. fluid
Plug Gap- 0.052 inch.
(all from Hayne's Manual)

if your engine/trans are pretty much stock i would stick with the above...

Mercon tranny fluid. Most companies replaced Dextron with Mercon, as Mercon will work in anything that was originally designed for Dextron.

Personally I use 15w40 diesel oil.

Motorcraft.

Most oils are synthetic blend nowadays....but I don't personally buy into the whole synthetic thing.
