I am wondering what parts I need to order to get these heads on, the specs on the heads are 289 heads, with 3/8 screw in studs installed, I am wanting to know what push rods i will need and what do i need to use roller rockers. These will be going on a 89 roller 302 block...

3/8th inch STUD mount roller rockers, any brand name should be ok.

These for example: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=SUM-G6940B

Pushrods, well you can buy a pushrod length checking tool, looks like a pushrod but it collapses. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=CCA-7701-1

Take a measurment, and then order the correct size.

G-Luck!

BTW, are you rebuilding the 89 motor?

YES, guideplates.

Manley makes a economical set for like $30, which can also be ordered from SUMMIT.(not a plug for them, but they have thousands of things in stock, and if you need it quick, they are your best bet).

sorry, cant help ya on the pushrod length, buy the tool to be safe if you wasnt the original owner of those heads, you dont know what has been done to them. I had an experience once, a gentelman told me the heads were box stock, little did I know it was 20thousands milled... they were garbage for my application then and there.
