:O At that pic. Id go KB 1.7. I know it sounds crazy, but I dont want a 700 hp mustang that I only can get traction at the track. I just want a street car that will haul ass.

Intercooled KB 1.7L. I'd have to get a forged bottom & lower my compression first.

For a street car, KB all the way. Actually trying to decide between 1.7 or 2.2 now.

Track car, it'd have to be twins.

Depends. With money as no part of the equation. KB 1.7 for a street car will live just fine on the street. The 2.2 gives alot more grow room but you'll want to build the bottom end to take what it's capable of.
Otherwise I would go twin turbo's if $ is no question. Then again you would want to build the bottom end in order to support what that is capable of.
Centri's are nice and that is proably what I will wind up with. Starting to like the idea of boost higher up (won't be in the boost all the time). But for fun set the tires frying KB all the way.

If I had the money to do it, I'd go with a Sean Hyland Forged stroker. KB 2.2 with a shot of NX. Basanni headers,O/R X and dumps. A trip to Alternative Auto to have Lidio tune her up for me. A TKO 5 speed with all the proper clutching or H/D auto. A new D/S. Supension upgrades all around. And a nice soild roll cage, rear seat delete Ricaro race seats with 5 point harnesses and have the frame tied to keep everything together.

Only thing missing is the $
