What Shifter???

I'm sure you guys all know Charris. Check his review on the frontpage. Here's a snippet...

"We at Stangnet heard a buzz, a murmuring that MGW had something new, something the market had never seen before…..well it's true. In one sentence we can summarize: The MGW shifter has set a new standard for the Mustang performance shifter industry!"

I'm sure you can see that the shifter is completely and totally different from any other design currently offered.

Trust me I look around the forums :)

I really doubt the actual backing of the MGW makes people say the Pro 5.0 or Steeda Tri-ax should be obsolete...I have not tried one...but I wouldn't bet that it would be any better or worse but in the same "class"...

The simple fact is that any aftermarket shifter is much better than the stock shifter...

83GT289 - It's all about advertisement...

actually i think it is just the opposite. i was actually hesitant to ask stangnet to review my shifter because...

1. we never have advertised with stangnet and it never came up when i asked if they would do a review.

2. stangnet actually carries many other brand shifters in their store so it really was not in thier best interests to praise the MGW piece.

3. if i sell a bunch of shifters stangnet gets nothing

bottom line is that mike and chris at stangnet actually have some morals and integrity and gave an honest unbiased review of the shifter with no alterior motives whatsoever. very rare in this business.

I wouldn't say the opposite...but anyways...

I would like to try the shifter someday...but I don't have money to be trying them out...I've only had experience with 4 different types (Pro 5.0, Tri-ax, B&M, Hurst)...now it is time to try the MGW...

If "praising" a shifter helps promote sells then that is always a bonus...
