Hi guys, I have a little dilemma here...
I have a 1994 GT Convertible with 126K miles on it.
The only "real" things I've done to it was out 4.10's in it, and a performance trans that I spent $2k for 2 years ago.
The car runs good, but is showing its age.
The car was declared a total loss in 2005 after some ******* pulled out in front of me. The car took a direct hit in the right front which deployed the airbags. I had to replace the dash myself with a used one, and I also replaced the airbags myself from a Cobra. Since I was replacing the front end, I had the shop put on a Cobra bumper, hood and headlights. The entire car was also repainted. I replaced the one tire with 4 used oem takeoffs from a V6 until I could save for the Cobra rims. The steering wheel's cruise control buttons are still missing. I took the insurance check and had it repaired and used the rest to pay off the loan.
Then this summer another ******* pulled out in front of me causing me to jump a curb and hit a small tree which bent the rim and cracked the front bumper. But since it was a he said/she said, his insurance didn't pay and I only had liability.
The cars been sitting since, and I'm not sure what to do with it.
I was considering Ebay'ing it, but the kbb is only $1200. I really love the car, but I'm not driving it much anymore because to be honest I don't feel safe in it anymore. Not sure why, but it just feels like an accident waiting to happen. The thing is though, after putting $6000 into it between the repairs and the trans work, I can't see selling it for $1200.
Any thoughts?

Doesn't cost ya' anything to list it there, at least. Set it at a price you think is reasonable, make sure you note that it has a salvage title, and then see if you get any nibbles.
Try driving 75 mph in a Geo Metro daily, and you'll know how I've come to appreciate even the moderate safety of an old Fox by comparison.
