I need to get some piston rings for my 289 .030.What size piston rings do i need to get.Are the rings the 1/16?And what size bore do I have?

same rings as 302 bored 30 over

Rings.

Measure the groves in the new pistons. That way, along with the 4.030 bore size, you can get the right ones. They are, most likely, 5/64, 5/64,3/16. Could also be 1/16, 1/16, 3/16. OR, take a piston with when you go to the parts house AND check the fit right there.
