my car doesnt pull for poop downlow. i installed 24# injectors thinking i could get away with it. i thought it may have been the distributor, but i put a different one in and still the same problem.

which would be better? 30# or 36#?

347 stroker
AFR185 heads
crane 2040
trickflow R-series intake

u can try the 30's first always better to start lower but i dont really think the injectors is the problem.

several things could be responsible for the o2s reading lean, and that may be the problem...but i would guess that your low-end power problem is because of your intake. R(ace) intakes aren't exactly known for low-end power

well ur setup is more of a mid to topend setup but u should be able to melt the tires no problem if it wont even spin in the rain there is definately a prob and 24 pound injectors wouldnt choke it down near that much.

Your problem isn't injectors. If you buy injectors again now, you will have to buy them again when the blower goes on. 24's are small but they will be ok I think.

What is your timing set at?

EDIT: Whats your compression at? Also that cam is good from 2400-6500, and your intake like he said is geared more toward top end along with your cam. I would suggest a dyno tune.

i assume you've also beefed up the rest of the fuel system?? fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, etc?? if not this could be it. 24's should flow up near 430hp area so i think your good.... but i dont know what else it could be dyno tune may be in order

if its that weak a simple tune isnt gonna give him all his power back its something more then that if its so weak it barrely spoins the tires in the rain but again u never answered my question is it doggy up top or does it run fine up top we need more info.

seems to start getting better at like 3500+ i THINK.

i have a 255 walbro and a kirban AFPR. would a blown fuse perhaps have any effect on this? i havent checked, but i think i hit the fuel rail when taking off the alternator.

the reason i think it might be the injectors is because both o2 sensors are sending lean signals. on my 302 after the h/c/i swap it ran like crap. i didnt switch out the fuel pump, but i put in 24#'s and it was a slug. i put in the new pump and the car pulled like a mother.

i hate to throw money at it...and i dont want it to seem like saying no to people's suggestions, but i dont want to limit it to one thing right off the bat.

i changed the distributor out last night and im about to put in a different IAC to get rid of code 81.

should i start with new o2 sensors before the injectors? i havent checked the fuel filter in a while either. could it be that?

if your keeping it N/A. 30's for the street, 36's for the track. If you add that blower, your gonna need bigger.

o2 sensors and fuel filter would be a good place to start let us know how it does after that.

Get that car on a dyno... My guess is somethings either wrong or your tune is way off... There are plenty of dynos in MA, choose one and head out there!

well i found the problem. i figured i'd go over all of the electrical stuff so i pulled all the fuses, ran a wiggle test on my code reader and all that junk. nothing showed up so i figured i'd check my vaccuum lines under the intake...

i was only running on 7 cylinders. cylinder #6 decided that the harness was too good to stay on the injector. thank god i didnt start throwing money at it. i havent started it up yet, but im sure everything will be out of whack

having it unplugged would cause it not to spray, correct?

Cool, so the IAC helped?

That's great that you found the problem! Come back and give me another ride tonight
