I'd like to keep the stock gauge working, so what size T-fitting do I need? Is the autometer fitting the same as the threads on the sender that goes on the extension on the block? if so i can just take that down to home depot and find something....

I got a 1/8" T-fitting, my fitting can thread into it, but not very far, is this ok? I'm assuming the Tee is tapered

Should I use Teflon tape as well?

Yes you should use teflon tape. You need to make sure that you get a good seal so that no oil leaks out.

Go to autozone and go to their little ricer section. Look for their gauges. I notice they now have a "oil pressure guage kit". It comes with the right side t-fitting and parts needed to use the stock sender and the new one.

It's basically the same parts i put together on my own all in one little kit.
