I'm planning on doing a BBK plenum/TB combo. I've heard that a 70mm is better for a stock GT, but I'm wondering if my car would benefit more from a 75mm because of my cams. What do you guys think? 70 or 75?

75mm or nothing. There's no negative effect associated with going from a 70mm to a 75mm on a Modular motor. There isn't going to be any great benefit either, but if you plan on a power adder or any other more extensive mods in the future, you're going to wish you went with the larger T/B.

if buying new get 75mm. If buying used get what ever you get a better deal on.

certain plenums react different to TB size. I have not seen one react negatively to the larger size though. Some of them flow exactly the same with 75 or 70 though. I have seen raw flow data on the accufab that I have and it flow exactly the same 70 vs 75mm. the C&L for example though flowed worse with the 70mm.

the BBK is new enough I have not seen flowbench numbers on it.

On a N/A car I wouldn't go any bigger than a 70mm T/B
and on a power adder car 75mm T/B for sure but, to each
his own.

Well, as long as the 75 won't run worse than the 70, I'll go 75. I figure a TB/plenum combo will complement my cams well. I still think I'm going to do 4.10's first though.

Just don't buy cheap. I bought a MAC 75mm TB and within a week sold it off for half price. It was crap. I'm glad I have an Accufab now.

From what I hear Skidzz the BBK T/B is a really nice peice
and I never hear of people having issues with it either.
Just make sure you avoid the Mac POS T/B.

That's what I've got. It's a nice unit. Smooth operating, low cost. Nice all around piece.

Sorry about missing the meeting Greg. Now that you're back from Iraq, email me when one is coming up so I can do better about attending them.

I do a 2 hour commute in the morning and a 2 hour commute coming home at the end of the day. That with the fact that I'm getting ready to be replaced by an outsourced company and I'm in the middle of my KB install... not much else I think about. Except that my girlfriend wants to jump my bones every night.

Life is rough...

Ive heard they are good products from the people that have actually used them. Who cares if they are made in China? If I get a tb/plenum im going with PP.

Install that KB and forget the girlfriend lol.
When you do finally install your KB post some pics

Took some pics tonight. I'm at step 150 out of 278 steps. Can't ignore my girlfriend cause she is as hot as my car and I am lucky in both senses.

Now I'll quit highjacking this thread. I apoligize...
