I want to lower my car about 1"-1.5", but I don't want to sacrifice too much on launches. I've heard some springs will have a bad weight transfer. is there a setup anyone would recommend for my car that would lower it in that range, but be a good choice for launching as well? I've heard something about using fox body springs. Is that true? And if so, what would that setup be? Thanks!

P.S. - And what about shocks and struts?

I can't notice a ride difference with my Eibach Pro-Kit. It lowered mine exactly 1.5 inches all around.

Fox body springs are great for drag racing. They are VERY loose and will transfer weight to the rear wheels very sufficiently. They will hurt handling though.

Will it make it handle worse than stock, because I'm fine with the stock handling. I don't do too much fast driving through the twisty stuff. I'm looking more for launching than handling, but if the handling is going to get worse with the fox body springs it won't be worth it.

A little more...but not unstreetable. You will notice your front end come up a LOT more when you go full throttle...which looks really badass

You will want to run 4cyl Fox body springs in front and V8 Fox body springs in back. You may have to cut the rear spring a little to lower. But they should lower your car a good 1.5 inches.

What about the drag-launch springs from Eibach? Are they worthless?

They are very good springs for drag racing...but they keep stock ride height.

I like my springs from MRT. They are the street sport springs and it is lowered 1.5 inches.. Still rides good and corners awesome. BTW my car also has Bilstein shocks/struts.

Steeda Sport Springs. They drop your car about 1 1/2". 650 lb front, 250 lb rear. Same as the FRPP C springs or Mach1 Springs which drop 1 1/4" front, 3/4" rear. I'm told both still leave the car handling nice. I'm going with the Steeda's myself. They cost more but I think they're better made. imo

When do eibach's start to sag?? Mine have been on 2 years and have no sagging problems what so ever and I got the sportlines. Must be the only one not to get sagging springs for eibach

I only know one other person with the sportlines and his dont sag. I know PLENTY of people with the pro kit and they all sag. Maybe the sportlines dont sag as bad H&R will lower almost as much as the sportlines...but not quite.

Yeh They been a good spring so far I would think they would of started to sag by now but nope. But if they do start to sag h&r 's are going in...
