What style of MAF is this? I made the PVC adapter to use it in the stock location, but it appears to bolt to something? Did it bolt to the fenderwell or something? Anyone know if it's a stock take-off of some other ford or something? It has 3" inside diameter, which leads me to believe it's a 76mm.

EDIT: Sorry for the large pictures before, I shrinked them down to make it easier on those who don't want huge pictures loading:

Was there ever a MAF that bolted to the air box? I don't guess it really matters...just curious.

I've googled the part number. Google cannot find any matches.

Part number: M-128579 A70

Looks like a 94-95 70 mm MAF with some sort of recalibrated/rebuilt sensor on top. Looks like the center joint has been cut out as well. Just my guess.

"128579" is the Ford number for the Mass air metering tube and sensor assembly FWIW.
