what temp does u'r stang run best at?

I like to run my 408 (see Sig) at 175-180. Seem's to run it's best at those temps.

Shon, me too. i dont like to see it crest 195. runs real nice at 160-170 (during warm up). that is a good range for anyone, IMHO.

Green92lx.....There was a test that was done over 50 years ago that proves me right. Do a search on google. Its called the the 60 hr test.
They ran 4 or 5 motors all at different temperatures, from 40 to 180 degrees to see how the temperature affects the motor. If you cant find it I might be able to scan the paper tommorrow.

all i know is, when i had my 180 in my old motor it ran much better than it does no wwith the stock 195, meaning temp wise, i notice a large power drop a temp
