Im confused.

And another question. My car is making a popping sound when I start going from a stop. I think its the tranny but someone told me its the axels. Any ideas?

First of all define fix? What did you do! :nono: J/K :D . Are you just trying to change gears or is something wrong. Axels are easy to fix, rear end is a little more work but it all depends what you want.

If it's making a popping noise you can actually "feel", it's probably your Traction Lock needs a rebuild. Axles bend, axles break, but I can't think of one thing that would ever make them pop. Same with the rear end housing itself.

If you're positive the noise is NOT coming from the rear of the car, then you may have issues with your transmission, or even cracked/broken motor or transmission mounts.
