FIRST OFF, I apologize for putting this in our forum rather then the fox body section. But they haven't been much of a help, so I though I'd see if anyone here knew anything.

So i'm looking at buy a fox body. It's advetised as a 1992 GT Cobra. So I figured, yeah it's just a GT, and maybe the person put some cobra parts on it. But I did a carfax history report on it, and sure enough it says it's a GT Cobra. What the heck is this? I though Cobras weren't produced until 1993?? I'm so confused.....help is appreciated

93 was the first year for the kewbra as far as i know. it may have been bilt in 92 but it would still be titled as a 93 cobra, not a 92 GT Cobra. i'd be very skeptical.

thats a really good question

i've only heard of the 93 cobra as well
unless it has something to do with where the engine was built; was it a regular GT longblock built at a Cobra engine plant? maybe a late model 92?

It's just a GT, no performance modifications of any kind. Just a renamed GT.

yeah i'm still waiting to talk to the owner to figure out what the heck it is. But I had just never heard of one before 93. hmmm

A Canuck Mustang GT. In '93 Canada dropped the "Cobra" part from the GT so people would'nt get confused as to what kind of Mustang they were buying.
