Is there anything wrong with simply getting an OEM clutch and aluminum flywheel? y stock clutch works great and it has 98,000 miles.

What would the advantage to be to someone with < 300rwhp to get a non-stock clutch?

I agree! I mean crap, my STOCK from the factory clutch has held at 400+RWHP for a YEAR and 15k miles...and I beat the CRAP outa this thing! Stock clutches usually seem to fail at 550-600hp/tq-ISH range in 03/04 cobras, and the clutch materials/design is nearly identical to 04 GT clutches. The stoutness of a stock T45 clutch might not be as much, I don't have much experience with those...

Did you replace the clutch fork and pivot ball when you did the clutch? how about the cable?

If you reused the pivot ball and fork then don't be surprised that you have problems. Sometimes you can get away with it and other times it's a very expensive mistake to try and save less than 100 bucks.
