I know you can only get a supercharger through kenne bell, how long does it take to actually have it in your hands?

well to purchase a kit..

You can olny get it from kenne bell .com....they have a police that noone can distribute there product, search around youll see, you can buy a kit anywhere else. it sucks

hes saying only kennebell.com sells kennebell blowers unlike how you can get vortechs basically anywhere.

Does Kenne Bell make roots style superchargers for the 5.0??


I was all set on getting a Vortech until i got to ride around in my friend's 03/04 Cobras. Man that whine of a roots blower is awesome!! Now i want a roots setup on my 5.0!

Roots blowers are crap other than the sound. High charge temps, less power, etc. Stick with a KB..or turbos. Yay turbos.

Which kind? The KB is basically an upper intake manifold swap with some A/C line relocations.

And thanks to the gentleman that answered the orginal question!

Mine only took 2 weeks to get it to my door. So far I am impressed with my KB. Good low end tq and pulls like a Muther....


It took 2 of us a while to install it. But we took our time and did it right.

There's a lot more to it that "just an intake swap". On my wife's Cobra I took my time and did it over three weekends. Probably 20-25 hours total. I'm pretty sure that I could do one on my car in 8-10 hours now. It's pretty straight forward, but their directions suck the big one.
