When I did my PI swap, I got ported heads and intake and the PI cams for about $800 if I remember correctly, from a forum member here. They were off a '02 GT with like 20k miles and had just been ported w/ a valve job. For that price, I couldn't pass 'em up. Then you can get a PI swap kit from GEF, find a buddy and do the swap over a wkend.

I'll throw some other stuff out there for you to ponder ...

Exhaust (cat-back and X or H pipe)

Shifter

Shocks and Springs (adios baha stance)

Throttle Body/Plentum

Urethane bushings (steering rack, end links, swaybar, etc. You'll need to replace them sometime anyway)

And finally, some seafoam (can't go wrong wit da foam )

skip the paint job, and paint your car flat black.

do pi heads, intake, 4.10 gears, after market cams, and a dyno tune.

In the order I would do them...

- Full Exhaust
- MM Full length subframes
- Lowering springs w/new shocks and struts
- Shifter

They are all mods that you will take advantage of everytime you drive the car..

Or you could goto the bank, get it changed into all singles and hit the strip club..

You should buy a short throw shifter first. I recommend MGW. Next, midpipe, then SFC's, then the PI swap. If you do the PI swap, you should go ahead and buy comp or VT cams.

A Magnaflow catback exhaust or Chrome FR500 wheels
would be cool.

Bassani Catted X and Exhaust ~$680
M.M. Subframe Connectors~$200
M.M. Lower Control arms~$350
Hand Held Tuner~$400

Damm $1600 doesnt go very far.
