What upgrades would you put on your Stock 02 gt if you had $2500 to spend?

Or LT's/cams. Do the big stuff first, do the little stuff later.

Assuming you have a 100% stock car and IF you dont save a little extra and get a blower I would get:

-Gears (4.10s) ~$150
-Cams ~$500
-Full exhaust ~$1000
-Springs to lower the car (assuming you dont have those already) $??
-T/A (Timing Adjuster) ~$150
-Steeda Tri-Ax shifter ~$150
-Acufab Plenum and TB ~$500

That is what i would probably do

Full exhaust, 4.10's or 4.30's, 31 spline axles and differential, welded torque boxes and axle tubes, and some Welds with slicks and skinnies.

Easy 12 second car right there.

definitely have to agree with that..
if you have a manual, definitely get a shifter, makes driving worthwhile...then wait for the blower!

Blower man, and I dont think KB lets their wholesalers sell for anything less than retail. Go for the 9lb intercooled kit anyway. Good luck, go for the blower.

IMO, the KB 6lb kit is $3600, do that now (or whenever you can get $1100) and in the future when you can save up another $1200 or so, get the intercooler upgrade. plenum/cai/exhaust/whatever doesn't even come close to worth it on these cars.

KB also notes that the stock gears work great with their blower, and the optimal gear is probably 3.73's

Yeah, I spent a good couple hours on KB's website reading.

I can't wait to put one in.
