My friend has a 92 GT that was a fairly stout racer in a previously life. It has several upgrades including launch kit, air bags and subframes along with solid lift bars.
As a result of many hard launches, the torque boxes have gotten in rough shape. The worst problem is that the bolt holes in the frame have actually gotten egg-shaped, causing clunking and some really peculiar handling issues(I don't know WHAT kind of engine it had in it, the one it came with wouldn't have done that).
So...
We know we are gonna have to do some welding, but what about those holes? Anyone ever had that happen and what did you do about it?
