If you've ever payed close attention, the bottom of the GT bumper cover attaches to the middle fog bracket to aid in support and shape. I personally would have fabricated it out of maybe tubular steel. I agree though, it's a lot of mass for a bracket up light-duty use. No, it doesn't support the radiator at all either like you said - that's all tak care of by the radiator core support mounted to each side.85GTlover said:As a matter of fact,for your information, I did, it supported the bottom bumper skirt.....what I also noticed was it did not support the rad in any way.
