what to expect?

Just wondering, Let's say i have a 04 Mustang GT and i work it out to the max. Full bolt ons, huge weight reduction. slicks. ALL MOTOR.. what 1/4 and RWHP can i expect? Also, do gt's respond to mods good?

How much money are you planning on spending?

Anyway, I recommend you start with SCT Xcal2, gears, and exhaust. Most people do...

well man.. i'm torn between a cobra or a mustang gt.. a mustang GT i can get now.. a cobra i would have to wait a bit longer (03-04 i want) Just wondering what i can be expecting with all the things i listed. Money is no problem.. it's just something i will do as time passes thanks bro

Well with boltons only (no cams/heads, ect), you may be able to squeeze 275RWHP out of it...and with ALOT of weight reduction putting it to 2800#s empty (+160 driver). You could go high 11s @ 111ish....but you need a GOOD launch. You would go neck and neck with a stock terminator were he to have slicks. Thats about how the car would pull.

haha wow man that sounds insane. thanks a lot.. but now what if put cams heads on.. is that a totally different story?

Well the FASTEST N/A 2V in the world runs a 10.8. But with all that weight reduction, we are talking a car with gutted interior, race seats...ALOT of money. If you can get an 03-04 cobra, then get that. These cars really need a S/C if you want it to be sick fast (plenty of 600RWHP 2V GTs...www.modularpowerhouse.com and take a look at some of them) . The cobra will be easy to make fast....boltons + a 3000 KB supercharger will get you around 600RWHP.
With a GT, you would need heads/cams/KB 2.2 (5500) and alot of supporting mods...you would make around 650.

SO it all depends on what you want .

cobra eh.. yeah i might just wait i guess.. i could go out and get a GT but cobra i would have to wait a while longer.. so i guess i'll try to hold off and wait.. yeah i heard cobras do make some awsome power with a few bolt ons thanks guys
