1992blkgt,
If you have the FP close to 37# the PCM can adjust +/-10% to compensate for errors. The best way to tell if you're running rich is with a WBo2, if you don't have one try smelling your exhaust, it should only smell slightly like fuel when cold, other than that it shouldn't smell like fuel. Check your plugs, the white ceramic should be white if your running Stoich most of the time, however, also check the metal ground bar on the plug it should be tan or light brown indicating that overall you're ok. If you have good o2 sensors the PCM cam learn and correct for proper mixture unless you have a SC or Turbo then things get pretty tough for the PCM to figure out, this is where a WBo2 is mandatory. Also pinging could indicate lean or too much timing.
Good Luck, Don
