i now have to replace the rear main seal in my 1995 mustang gt auto and want to put a better torque converter since i have to drop the tranny anyway and i dont know what one to go with any ideas???
IMHO for a stock engine or even slightly modified your best stall speed would be something between 2400 - 2600 . Best performance is obtained with a converter that has a stall speed slightly higher than the rpm of the engine when it starts to produce its strongest usable power .
You are likely to get differing opinions so in that respect I would suggest you do a little research before making your final decision.
