what is a good oil to run in the summer in the south east?

i want to use synthetic.....is 20w-50 too thick?

Don't use 20W-50. Go with a Synthetic 5W-50.

I put in 5w-50 two days ago. Two reasons,
1. Summer heat
2. Help with oil pressure (Damn OEM guages...can't ever trust them. Can't wait for my a-pilar...)
