What type of car cover for my unfinished 67?

I'm storing my 1/2 way restored '67 shell under a carport until next summer. I want to know what I have to do to store it properly. The carport will protect it from getting rain and snow on everywhere but the very front and back (it can blow under).

I heard something about a cover that "breathes" so moisture does not get trapped under the cover and in with the car... anyone know where I can pick this up and if it's really necissary?

Anything else that I should do before letting it sit?

Curent Vehicle Condition:

- No motor or tranny.
- Replacing the rear end.
- The body is restored from about the door handle area forward (Metal patches where needed, all undercoated)
- New stock suspension and steering
- The truck bottom and wheel wheels are still rusted to **** (PA Car)

Maybe that will give you guys an idea of what type of shape this vehicle is in.

I store mine under a cover bought at Kragens. It was about $150.00, looks like cloth, but keeps out "MOST" of the water, but also allows any moisture under the cover to evaporate out. Due to a leak, I also cover the roof with a separate plastic tarp, but becareful, some tarps bleed colors. A silver tarp left some really bad stains on my body. I put some styrofoam blocks on the roof under the plastic tarp so when it rains, the water will run off instead of puddling up.

how about one of those all weather ones that surround your whole car? It zips up, and circulates air. Look at the california car cover company or do a search for them.

I wouldn't do anything to it. I think a cover would hurt more than help. Let it breath. The covers SAY they do that but it isn't the same as free flowing air.
