There is a very limited selection of aftermarket valve covers for 4.6 I think one company makes them and they are very expensive.

if you can take cover off of car, or have spare, u can get as areative as you want to paint them. I can't find any at the moment, but I've seen pretty snazzy one that people done up.

I like to do that with mine. But eventho i can replace my own clutch, install header by disassembring K-member, Do my own spring install, somehow I can't get my valve cover off of car.
1 bolt i just can't not get somehow

I may be wrong, but I think some of the truck 4.6s, possibly some in the conversion vans, had different locations on the filler necks, etc. Those might help that fit in your 97 a little better.

If you create a photobucket account you can upload your photos into it and then link the mages into your threads. It is free...

they also have different logos you can have engraved below the oil filler cap, like running horse, 281, I opted to leave it blank. Alos the filler neck was switched to the drivers side from stock covers
