Ok, so I'm driving down Route 7, driving pretty slow (speed limit) when i see this black mustang behind me. He started tailgating, so I switch lanes, not wanting to start anything. He follows me in the lane, so I'm like ok.... wtf are u doing. Then I was like, **** it, and floored it, weeving in and out of traffic. Surprisingly, he kept up. From my rear view mirror, he had a 99-03 V6 hood. When I was at the stop light, he passed me, and he had a V6 rear bumper, with just a 'Mustang' logo. Although, he had dual exhausts, and his car was really loud. Did he have a GT or a V6? I have no clue.

Theres a guy around here that has a newer GT thats a sleeper. He put all v6 stuff on it and debaged it. Except the hood which still has the GT style scoop on it. He even went as far as putting turn downs behind the bumper so people would think it's a 6. This guy could of been going for the same deal. I know that early 99+ GTs didn't have the hood scoop yet. I guess the only way you'd be able to tell is the sound of it.

But the thing that stumps me is that he had a V6 rear bumper. I dunno, most v6 owners put duals on thiers, but this guy kept up, so it got me thinking.

I would guess he had neither a GT or a V6 -- what you just described is a 1999 Cobra.

Damn dawg I didn't know you were here in NOVA. What color was that ride? I work on a V6 and it has duals with a MAC cat back. I just finished customizing his motor so beware!

Before I started..

Total stealth mode in sleeper effect. All the mods are low key.

Let me know if you need some work or customizing done.

Yea I can tell. Hell, I'm proud of all your work, so I can't blame you.

I wish I knew someone that did some sweet ass work like you do. If you and your wife are ever looking to adopt a 20 year old hispanic kid, drop me a PM.
