OK I have decided to finally change the oil in my 72. I have had it for almost 2 years now, but have only put about 200 miles on it. So I figure I should change the oile to see what is going on with it. I may wait until after the all ford nats in carlilse because I want to pick up a new oil pan., Mine is all dented. The engine is a 351 C what weight of oil (not synthetic) is best for this engine? I have a feeling I will be stocking 3 different weights one for each vehicle. the 02 mustang takes 5w20, the E-150 van takes 5w30 and what ever I need for the 72.

Thanks

As has been inferred above, the state of your engine will dictate what weight oit to use. The older the engine, the heavier the oil.

And irrespective of how few miles you do, oil should be changed at least yearly. It's a small price to pay to keep the engine healthy.
