what will a stock 3650 hold?

Rated at 360 ft-lbs.

Pretty damn strong, but as with any trans you get guys that blow them at 260HP and other guys with 425HP and no probs.

I know of someone with 350 rwHP and a stock 3650 and no probs. It all depends on how you drive

Ok, it should hold for the dyno pulls @ 550RWHP. Buy your engine mods and baby the transmission until you save up another 2Gs (at your rate, shouldnt take long LOL)) and then swap in

A. TK0 600
B. Viper spec T-56
C. Cobra T-56 W/ hardened input shaft (26 spline?)
D. Built 4R70W

I know a few guys with 01 cobra that are pushings 600-650rwhp on stock 3650's!! That might not be the norm, but its certainly not the exception. A 3650 is a great trans for daily driving, and holds up great at the track. If you're gonna be drag racing exclusively go with T-56 over TKO trans, TKO's drive more like a road race trans and are less streetable.

I've been at 400rwhp (+/- 15p or so) for a while now and it feels great after about 50 passes on drag radials cutting 1.7's (stock clutch too, some say I'm just lucky lol).

Just edited your to reflect mine.
It's all in how you drive it and luck of the draw. Mine is holding fine, even though I powershift, and launch on the spray. Meanwhile a buddy with a STOCk mach1 blew his up in less than 6 months.

i've done alot with 3650's :D

1 - i've grenaded my stock tranny, while i was bone stock.....
2 - destroyed my 3rd gear syncro with bolt on power & never missed 3rd .....
3 - Had no problems with this one while making 440+ rwhp

so basically........luck of the draw
