Yeah those cars are not ones to mess with take it from me. I came up on a light and the guy next to me had a BLack trans am some thing like that but he had the swap done. He was looking at me so I said what the hell I droped it down into first and took off. Ok I shifted at 5k and was doing good untill I hit about 60mph and he passed me like I was doing nothing. I left the light at 3500rpms and took him for a bit but he got me I need some heads.

You up for a friendly bet?

I would wager that your car will lose ET and gain trap speed with the install of a Torker 289.
No other changes.
What you got to lose?
A Saturday? A hundred dollar bill for the intake?
What you got to gain? Power.
If you don't gain, sell the intake and recoup your dough.
Heck, I'll buy the intake if you lose power, but that won't happen.

Sorry dude...been there done that already. I dropped 3 tenths by changing to the rpm. It's just an old design.
I saw a 331 build a little while back were they were shooting for 500 hp on motor. They lost 5 hp from thevictor jr. to the airgap but gained 8 ft/lbs.
Torque is what you build for and hp is something you lie to your friends about.

I just dynoed the car and it put down a whopping 275 to the rear. After aruguing with the owners I stopped tuning the motor. So it has a little more, but not much. "But Dustin, you weigh 270 lbs. How does you car run those times?" 367 ft/lbs to the rear BABY !!! hehe sorry. I get carries away some times.
Anyway, I had the victor jr too, but didn't like it.

Victor Jr is too much intake.
I am talkin' MILD single plane...
Port-O-Sonic
Torker 289
Wieand (a little too mild IMO)

Victor and even Torker 2/Torker 302 are too much to compete torque-wise.
