What Will Springs and Subframes Provide?

I am relatively new to the modular world of Mustangs, and have learned a lot on these forums. I have dropped off my car (1998 GT convertible) to have 3.73's done. While the car is at the shop, I am having full length weld-in(KB) subframes installed and Steeda Sport springs installed. How much will this effect the ride of the car? I know it will make it look more "sleek", but I am wondering if there are any negatives to doing this. Also, should the shocks be changed now too, or can they wait?

How much is the drop on the Steeda springs? Too much drop and the entire steering geometry of the car is off.

Lowering the car will allow a greater contro of vehiclel and more stability in cornering. The SFC's, good choice btw, will help in the overall effect of stiffening the chasis. And now in regards to the shocks, I would opt to do it and get the shocks and struts installed as it would be easier to take care of it all at once. The shoks/strut/Caster/Camber combo is enivetiable.

Subframe connectors basically stiffin the center chassis. They connect the front suspension to the rear. Mustangs all come stock with subframe connectors, however they end about right past the driver's seat. Full lengths will support the full length of the car, stopping the uni-body from twisting under pressure, such as a tight turn, or when launching.

Only the Verts and special edition stangs come with subframes.. but they're bolt ins and only offer marginal rigidity.. the full length weld ins rock... You can jack the car up from the back and the front tire on that side will lift with it.. car rocks on the corners and over rough roads now too.
