What wire to spline into for EL-Glow gauges

I got some upr el-glo guages on the way. I know what to do on everything except what wire to splice into on the headlight. And whats the best route to go by doing this.

I tapped mine right into the headlight switch dont remember what wire color it was but i took a power tester to the back of the switch and found the one with juice with switch on only

Or you can get one of those fuse tap things from autozone, and just plug it in to the fusebox .. number 37 I believe (dimmer.)
