What works good for polishing plastic?

My guage lens cover, taillights, foglights, etc., mostly all the plastic pieces on my car, have scratches in them. How can I try to get them out, any products?

I believe Mothers and Meguiars both make polishes specifically for plastic. I've also heard of using Mothers metal polish on headlights/taillights to buff out some scratches.

I got some Meguiar's "Clear Plastic Cleaner, #17" that worked good on my gauge cluster plastic.

I really like PLEXUS Plastic polish A very light abrasive polish For tailights, interior plastic, Instrument panel. But if you need something more aggresive try Meguiars Plastic Polish
