Guys-

What would be some causes of having "NOISES" tink-tink, metallic-audible & physical vibrations in the cooling system after head install? mostly heard and felt in the lower manifold @ the T-stat housing-manifold, Only after warm up-usually about 200 degrees. About the same time my E-fan turns on, mind you the i have a Mr. Gasket 180 T-stat in place.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-help!
Thanks Anthony

P.S. Its been since march06, still have the same prob :bang: :bang: :bang:

Its coming dorectly from the T-stat housing and the where the lower manifold meets the housing. And it vibrates all the way to the upper radiator inlet!!!!!!!!!!!! Loud......
Did the compression test, came out good, no fluid in the spark plug holes/cylinders either-dude. Tested it with the snap on- H/G tester and it passed 3X... im soooooooooooooooooo lost, man-Im looking to sell the bitch! Im done and had it!

Check to see if the starter is loose..I had the situation happen to me and would have never guessed it was the starter, I just got under the car touching a couple of things when I found out it was that!...worth a try ..good luck!!:D
