As some of you may know, I recently bought BlackVert's 1.8L Kenne Bell, and I'm almost certain that I'm going to wait about a year to put it on the car, because I'd rather wait til I get a new motor that can really handle it, rather than throwing it on my current setup with 120,000 miles.
So, my question is, what would be the perfect setup for a kenne bell? Right now I'm thinking something along the lines of a DSS 331ci block (maybe just a 306 if money is tight), with AFR 165s or 185s, with a custom cam and one of TMOSS's ported lowers, and throw 10psi at it. Do you guys have any advice or opinions on the best route for me to go, assuming I want to do this RIGHT. If you had a 1.8L kenne bell and could start fresh with your motor, what kind of setup would you run?
**I meant to put this in Tech, if an admin wants to move it i'd appreciate it
