There are two small thing that I thought should have come on my wifes car. 1. She has the My Color option but the stereo and a/c controls just stay green.
2. Tilt wheel but no telescope (when I stretch out my legs I can't reach the wheel so good).

These are minor I was wondering what everyone else thought.

(this is for factory things, not talking about aftermarket)

That bugs me too! They kind of half assed it. I made the MyColor green so it will match all the other lights I can't change.

However, I just push the pedal down and I forget all about it.

I would make it quieter, My wife and I have gone crusing in it all summer, and no exhaust noise would have been nice.

I'll second the telescoping wheel idea.
I think ours is super quiet (this is probably because I drive the Lightning most of the time and my best friend has an LS1 that is very loud)

These are the 2 exact things that I would change. Well, and correct the problem(s) with the Shaker head unit. Mine plays fine, but I've noticed that at the left and right sides of the main display area, the lights fade on and off intermittently. Bad thing is, I'm afraid to take it in for exchange because then I might get a unit that skips or doesn't play CDs.

I really dislike the seat back-adjustment controls ... the latch behind should have a memory feature. :fuss:

The Plastic that they've used on some areas of the interior is way too soft and scratches easily. In years to come this will be a big deal to the second/third owners of or Mustangs. :notnice:

The lag in the acceleration though has to be the #1 worst feature about these cars and there is no reason for it, imo
~ :bang:

but I still love the car > > >

So where in the heck are the heated seats?

How about the interior trunk release button?

Retro is nice but returning to hideous green dashlights?

Adjustable headrests (fore/aft) would have been nice..

Other than those - I really like my car...

I live in FL so the heated seats would do m enow good.
The interior trunk release had me baffled too, but we got the vert so it is kind of a security feature for us.
+1 on the head rests, my wife mentioned that the first day she drove the car.

i see what you all are saying and i completly agree. but anyone else dissapointed in the quality of the defroster? i dunno maby its just me, i live in southern california and the morning "due" (spell?) makes the front windsheild and the back window are nearly opaque. and it takes a couples mins for them to defrost and it doesnt really do a great job at it..

also i dont like the look of the parking break when its up.. looks tacky

headrests could be more comfy/not at such an acute angle.

once again the rear seat lever is a B*****

i havent driven the car that long but it seems alittle bit difficult for me to sense the exact edges of the car.. anyone have that issue. i am 5'9'' but i have the seat raised up a bit and i just find it alittle bit too much guesswork to find the exact front of the bumper which sticks out farther than the hood.. never know if im going to hit the curb infront of me.. that will come in time tho

besides for that.. i just wish it was a gt so i could have alittle more punch going into 3rd :)

thats pretty much all i can think of, pretty minor things when you think of it in retrospect. ford has impressed me with this car and continues to inpress me with the amazing performance from a muscle car in this price range... i think they just need better interior designers and public opinions on the features and it would be a nearly perfect car for the price and availability.

once again.. its just my $.02

I would have liked to have had the option to get a 427 FE with 2 4's and a toploader. But I'm the kind of guy that likes to feel compression and lope through the soles of my feet on concrete.

Been there, done that.
As much as we love to glamorize those old engines and cars, the 427 2x4 was damned near useless as a street engine.

Coming in 2007, along with 20 more HP, which is why I've decided to wait 11 more months.

wow, i just cant believe how patient you are. if it were me i wouldnt wait 11 months for 20 more hp. i mean how long do you expect to live? enjoy life. 20hp can be obtained with 700$ in a tune and intake. and isnt the car fast enough? you wont even feel 20hp that much hoenstly. i mean instead of 0-60 in 5.2 it will be 5.1 or 5.0.. but does it matter that mmuch to you to wait 11 mo? i dunno just an objective observation. i guess im waiting 5+ months for my gt already so i dunno..
