Ok here goes. I have a 2000 GT which i absolutely love. Everything on it is exactly what I have always wanted. I just bought the Kar Kraft shaker kit for it which is the last major upgrade I want to do for a while. I also recently got engaged with a wedding to help pay for in a little over a year. Should I sell my car pay off my current debt with the money I would make from it, buy another 99-04 GT and start over with no debt? or keep my current car which is everything I have wanted my car to be and try to pay off my debts and save for a wedding in the next year? Even though it would be nice to get rid of the debt in one huge payoff I am having a really hard time with the thought of selling the car which I have worked so hard to make what I want it to be. Sorry for the long post I have just been racking my brain for days with this and need some other opinions on it. Thanks!

If you have any expensive mods on your car I wouldn't sell it if you're just going to put the same ones in another car. Another option is to take off the mods on your car if you're going to sell it, then just put them on your next ride. If it was me I would just keep the stang.

Keep the car and elope. Trust me, you'll regret losing the car forever, I eloped and don't regret not spending a ton of cash on one day, and have been with my husband for 20 years now. Don't sell the car.

The solution to your problem is don't sell your car.
Don't get married that can wait.Pay off your bills first
before you get married or you will probably end up
regretting it.After you pay your bills off then start
saving your money for a wedding. As you are paying
off your bills you can even do some mods on your car.
If you sell your mustang you will hate yourself in the end.

Well thanks for all of the advise I really appreciate it. I think I have decided to keep the stang I currently have after long debate and searching for other mustangs that I think would be worthy of my purchase. I really didn't find anything that caught my eye, other than cars out of my price range. I should be able to get all of my bills (or close to) paid off within the time before the wedding and my fiancee has told me many times not to sell the car if I don't want to. I just don't think I could watch someone else drive my car away! Thanks again everyone!
