dont know out of the two. kyb's are adjustable. tokicos are 100.00 cheaper. also going with eibach pro kit or h&r sport's. what would work best with what. also are the tokico hp diff from the mach 1 & bullit tokico's. thanks :nice:

I bought a very slightly used set of Eibach pro kit for a vert along with a slightly used set of AGX. People on here will say the KYB, in general, are not good and they fail. However, if you read all their info, KYB states that the AGX shocks should not be installed on cars lowered more than 1.5". Maybe that is why they seem to fail, since lots of people have their car lowered 1.5" or greater.

I like them (Eibach and AGX) so far. Tried multiple settings and you can notice the difference. BTW, I got my Eibachs and AGX for @ $300 shipped. Hard to pass on the deal, so I tried them.

Also, if you were going to get non-adj, the mach shocks/struts are inexpensive. I think you can get them for @ $170.
For the fronts its affordable to go with some Bullitt/mach1/HP front struts. For the rear I'm not completely satisfied with the dampening on my bullitt shocks. They are fairly stiff, but are quite harsh over speedbumps.. I would definately at least spend the extra cash to get the AGX adjustables for the back and play with the settings, or get Bilstein rears for around 100 bucks each as well.

how difficult is it to get to adjust the rear shocks on the tokico's?? isnt the screw facing up?

It's under the paneling or whatever it's called, so it's a pain to get to. Most people, myself included, find a setting they're comfortable with and leave it at that. I'm a 4 all around. :D

mine are at 4 all around also..

As for rear adjustment you can cut a hole in the trunk liner (big or small it up to your)
or just remove the liner when you need to adjust them..
I left my trunk liner out for a bout a week playing with the setting..

1 is springy
2 is about the same not as bad..
3 about like stock
4 firm yet smooth
5 you will feel every crack in the road. but i love it.. dropped it back to 4 for the women..

hope that helps..
