Picture is hosted by a message board that you must be a member of to view...thus most of us won't see the pic.

But being that it's a mavric/comet message forum I'm going to guess that it's a mavric/comet or something that's been cobbled together out of both platforms.

I guessing the yellow model is of the 1982 vintage. the large round headlights give it away, hehehe

She looks to be about a 1980 or so vintage. When was this pic taken?

ratio411 and others...............this is a great way to put up photos:

http://imageshack.us/

Upload them from your pic file and paste/copy them to your post here at StangNet. If I remember you have to do the normal sign up but this is a great free service.

front looks like it could of been a 67 but the windows don't fit that year and I don't see any side scoops/fins. the windows and lack of scoops/fins would support a early 70's (1972 probably)

Frankenstein Maverick?

It appears to be a Maverick body with a 68 Mustang front end. The front fenders are definately 68 Mustang, you can tell by the front fender side lights. The back half of the body is definately not Mustang. Look at how bad the body lines look transitioning from the fender to the door. It's a Frankenstein

68 has the little tilt out window up front, i don't see it in the picture. I also don't see any sign of the fins in front of the rear wheel

if you look at the front end there is a line that the 67/68 had goin back to the fins before the rear wheel. instead you see the hoodline is extended just past the begining of the door and lower line is introduced just before the door. 68 had the lower line starting in the door.

I think someone photoshopped or hacked the 68 front end onto a 72 or something.

edit: i see you changed your original answer jcode. hehe. I didn't catch the marker.

Busted I guess

After I posted, I did a double take and focused more on the back half and knew immediately "that weren't no Mustang". Thought I could get away with a quick edit and save some face... Guess not
