What's a fair price for a '94 Cobra long block?

It's got 117k miles on it. I could offset the cost of a new motor by selling my stock long block. Is it worth selling or should I just keep it on a stand as a project?

I'd guess around $500. The explorer motors that are 98-01 with 50-80k go for about $5-700. And thats the same motor basically...actually, the explorer is better aint it? Minus the cam ofcourse....

will you be selling the intake(you said long block) or is just gonna be the shortblock plus the heads?

with heads and intake i would look for around 800... just heads i say about 600-whatever someone would be willing to pay

It would be great if he did sell it for 800....but if u can buy an explorer motor which is better for less...with half the mileage...why wouldnt u?

That is ofcourse he finds someone stupid enough to pay that much
