Looking into ordering a cam but not sure whats a good one.

LOL. What's a good combo that you intend to use this cam for? It's not one size fits all. I could give you part nombers for some AWESOME cams that will wreck your motor and make no power.

Tell us what your build is and someone smarter than me will come along an make a recommendation for you.

Ford Hot Rods or Brenspeed Detroit Rockers. No need to replace valve springs with these. Decent power gains and sound.

doesnt it also depend on where you live guys? If people will complain about the sound and cops will end up pulling you over? As a future officer I dont mind it as long as youre safe near people, but we all know there are those cops that will pull you over just to write out a ticket.

Brenspeed Detroit Rockers are awesome! When I did cams, LT's, O/R H pipe and T/B, I picked up over 50 RWHP.

For just bolting on im going to go with either the detroit rockers or the frpp hot rod cams...There is alot of youtube videos with before and after installs. And i think comp makes a cam called the mutha thumpa thats comparable to those...

I have Mutha Thumprs.... I LOVE THE SOUND. my city mpg went down to about 13 (from 17-19) but my highway is still 26-27. they are a little harder to drive. I still have my 3.73 but comp recommends 4.10s . you need to install phaser limiters with these cams

I have a friend with a 2010 and has the hot rods. I installed his cams and drove his car. it runs a bit smoother but is not as aggressive as mine. it really depends on what you plan on doing too.

BBR makes some good cams and you can supercharge it later cuz its boost friendly.

theres a sound limit. and if some cops get a wiff of what you might have under the hood theyll pull you ovver for it.
