Greetings everyone. I'm wondering what if anything you would advise if I want a better exhaust note than the stock exhaust ('07 GT) -- but I can't get anything too loud when I leave early in the morning because of my close by neighbors? (The car sounds great at high RPMs, but I can't do that too much or too long on most streets around here.) Am I trying to thread too fine a needle?

Thank you very much for your thoughts.

try the S-197 forums for that. But my guess would be a high flow catted H for some more tone down low while keeping your stock axle-back. Or you can try a conservative sounding cat-back for it too and keep the mid pipe stock.

F***'em!! Neighbors are'nt going to dictate what I do to my Mach. I leave for work anytime between 1:30am-3:00am depending on what job I'm working on. I fire up the Mach with the 'Packs @ Bassani X roaring . No one gives a s**t to be quiet when I have to go to sleep at 8pm, so why should I be quiet at 2am? Payback is a biotch.

I agree with CobraRed 100%. Stay with your stock h-pipe and try some different mufflers or the other way around. But personally i would try a different cat-back system and keep the stock h.

I had Dynomax Turbo mufflers on my 01. They were not too loud and had a nice deep tone to them. I almost like them better than the Magnaflows I have now.

I uploaded an old video so you can hear them.

My neighbors don't mine mine...but then again who's out there shoveling their driveways in the winter?? ME!!

So they leave me alone.

BTW flowmasters are pretty loud even with stock h-pipe. You can hear me coming blocks away
